Bigfatstudio worked in Ethiopia with Tamesol
Communications and the EFDR House of Federation
on the country’s first animated 52 x 7 minute children’s
series and dedicated comic book run, “Abeba and Abebe”

Simon Rolph worked closely with local writers, artists and
animators as script and storyboard editor at Tamesol’s
purpose-built studios in Addis Ababa, helping build their
production capacity.

The series is sponsored by UNDP and addresses the rights
of the child aaccording to the Ethiopian Constitution.
It is broadcast on national TV in Amharic, Tigrinya and
Oromifaa.
